Monopoly Advance to Boardwalk

WMS Gaming's Monopoly Advance to Boardwalk: is a 5 reel mechanical slot with an LCD overlay that enhances the game with 3D graphics and when triggered, allows touch screen capabilities for bonus rounds. The game is available in 40 line penny and 20 line nickel versions.

WMS Gaming first introduced Monopoly slots to casinos 10 years ago. These games were an instant hit when the first four themes were released in 1998.  Advance to Boardwalk, takes Monopoly slots where they've never been before, the carnival. Not only does the game feature a total of seven different bonus games, but it also has five progressive jackpots and a top progressive that starts at $100,000

The theme of Advance to Boardwalk is a carnival and players can choose to visit during the day or at night, in two separate slot machines. Although the artwork and symbols differ between the Day and Night versions, the game play is the same for both.

The carnival theme extends through the entire slot. The symbols on the reels include traditional carnival food like popcorn, pretzels, carnival rides and games and the characters from the Monopoly game including Mr Monopoly and Scotty the Dog.

Base Game:

Three or more bonus symbols in the Day or ticket to ride symbols in the Night theme trigger the Free Spin Bonus. You're awarded 10 free spins for three scattered symbols, 15 free spins for four and 25 free spins for five symbols. During the Free Spin round, the background changes to a first person view of a roller coaster ride. You get to experience the climbs and drops as the car twists and turns.  The ride continues through all of the free spins.

Bonus Rounds:

The game has 6 bonus games that can be triggered randomly or in the case of the progressive jackpots, are based on line pay combinations.

Bell Ringer Wild Bonus: is randomly triggered at the start of any spin. The announcer's voice calls out "Advance to Boardwalk!" and while the reels spin, Mr Monopoly strides along the boardwalk until he reaches the Bell Ringer booth. If he hits a reel and rings the bell, the reel turns wild for the spin. If he rings a bell twice, you are awarded a Prize Pick. Once Mr Monopoly has finished ringing the bells, the reels stop spinning and the line pays are awarded.

Water Works Balloon Race Bonus: You select one of five water guns below a Monopoly character on the reels. The guns shoot water at the character's face and fill the balloons until they pop. You are then awarded credit amounts based on the order you finish and a first place finish awards a Prize Pick Bonus.

Symbol Toss Respin Bonus: is randomly triggered after a spin where all wins use a single symbol. The display moves along the boardwalk until it arrives at the Ring Toss booth. Mr Monopoly enters the screen holding several Ring Toss symbols in his hand. The reels dim except for the winning symbols. Mr Monopoly tosses the rings on the reels and where they land, that reel changes to the winning symbols. The reels then respin with all of the winning symbols held in place and the new pays are then awarded. This can repeat up to 7 times, with the new rings and winning symbols added each time. If Mr Monopoly tosses a Prize Pick symbol, the player will advance to the Prize Pick bonus round.

Balloon Pop Bonus: you touch the screen to throw virtual darts at the balloons to pop them. The balloons can award credit amounts, progressive coins or burst. You keep popping balloons until you either collect all three Progressive coins and advance to the Prize Pick or hit burst, which ends the bonus.

Coin Drop Bonus: Uses a physics based engine to simulate a pinball style game. You launch a coin and it falls down the board bouncing off pins and bumpers, until it lands in a cup. The coin can land in a Value Cup, which awards a credit value, or it could trigger other possible bonuses, credit modifiers and even a relaunch. If the coin lands in a Prize Pick cup, you move on to the Prize Pick bonus round.

Prize Pick Bonus:  You are taken to a screen where several prizes are displayed. On the initial level, the prizes are rubber balls. You touch a ball to reveal a credit value which can range from and amazing 600x to 3,500x the line bet or an upgrade to a higher level.

Levels 2 to 6 feature credit values, upgrades or one of the 5 progressives.
At maximum bet...

The Mini Prize resets at $100
The Mid Prize resets at $200
The Big Prize resets at $300
The Super Prize resets at $500
The Grand Prize resets at $1,000

The Top Progressive jackpot is a wide area progressive that resets at $100,000.  You can win this when you play maximum bet and five Advance to Boardwalk symbols land on the center pay line.
